If your agent has access to your company or personal account then they can make the travel bookings for you, using reward points. This would be subject to the usual and agreed services fees, so treated the same as any other booking.
Some airlines, for example, British Airways, operate a scheme to purchase an airfare using some air miles and the balance by online payment, or alternatively purchase the airfare using online payment and then upgrade using air miles.
This is not the case with all providers, however, who only offer for bookings to be paid using points if the account holder has enough to pay for them in full; ie: it is not possible to part pay using points and the balance using online payment.
