No two days are ever the same, but here’s a sneak peek into Evie’s (one of our business travel consultants) Tuesday this week.
‘The day starts early. I wake up and get ready for the day wolfing down a quick breakfast. Some bookings have been approved whilst I slept (always a bonus), so at 9am I am straight into confirming flights, hotel rooms and transfers.
By 10am, Lindsay has logged on and the day feels more sociable. It’s great having a teammate to bounce ideas off and share the daily wins. Before you know it, my inbox is full again – everything from new requests and last-minute changes to thank you notes from happy travellers.
Lunchtime today was tomato and mushroom on toast (an underrated combo!). Then it’s straight into quoting for a large group booking – finding the best.
Around 3pm I pause for a cheeky chocolate break and stretch. The afternoon’s tasks include checking our social media schedule and preparing a handover for the team to ensure smooth sailing after I log off.
After work, I’m in taxi-mode, collecting my brother from the station before winding down for the evening. A visit to the pub with friends, a little telly, and finally – sleep!
