Named Duty of Care Champion

We’re delighted to share some exciting news: Principal Business Travel has been recognised as the Duty of Care Champion at the Business Travel People Awards 2025 🏆.

Announced last night, this award celebrates organisations who go above and beyond in protecting and supporting their travellers. For us, it’s a huge honour – because wellbeing and care sit right at the heart of what we do.

Founder Ingrid Sanderson said:

“Being recognised within our own industry for an issue as important as traveller and employee wellness means the world to us. We have worked tirelessly to bring duty of care to the forefront of HR conversations, and this award will only help us drive the cause forward even further.”

From the very beginning, our approach has been about more than itineraries and bookings. We focus on the people behind the journeys – ensuring that every trip is not only seamless and efficient, but also safe, supportive, and mindful of individual needs.

Winning this award is a reflection of our team’s dedication to traveller wellbeing, our commitment to personal service, and the trust our clients place in us. And with Business Travel Wellbeing Week in full swing, the timing couldn’t be more convenient – this recognition shines a light on exactly what this week is all about: caring for people, not just trips.

💡 As we continue sharing tips and resources throughout Wellbeing Week, we’re proud to know our commitment has been recognised on a national stage. Business travel should never come at the expense of health or happiness – and that’s the Principal difference.
